Dear Mads:-) Trade Commander should be set up for only a few asset classes, and like you say I am not aware if they also have added CFDs to this system yet. I will contact the bank and hear what the full description is for the Commander. I belive it is still being worked on and new asset classes will be added steadily moving forward. Hey Mads :-) I belive you forget one very importent question, When did I start my work in finance, and what education do I have ? I have no Master degree, so whilst most people my age still are doing their studies I started working my way up as a junior trainee in London where I started in 2004.I can see you are from Denmark, and like rest of Scandinavia most within the finance sector complete their education and master before entering within the bank/broker industire. A very important thing that I pointed out in the interview (and they did not write this unfortently) is that this is not very normal, and it is twice as hard being 23 and earning more or the same wages as collegues whom are twice your age. But it is quite normal in cities like London and New York that they take on even 16 year old trainees and let them learn the trade. Please note that I started my career in the broker indsutrie. I take my hat of for what is happening in the US and spreading around to the European markets.....not since the 80s have we seen such big mess up ( sorry but this is the truth about the US financials). They asked to be left alone without regulations on their " new derivatives products" that they so amazingly came up with.....the gouvernment left them to it....and look who is now coming back to the government begging on their knees for 85 billion dollars for a bail out......It is sad, to see that history keep repeating itself within the financial institutions. A good thing is that the interest rate now was left unchanged at the last FOMC meeting....there is a reason for why we have regulations and this is a perfect expample when the big boys think they can run the world on their own. I have friends whom themself arrived in their Lehman Brothers office Monday, just to find the doors closed. Brokers who now lose their clients in Lehman...I belive we will have a huge number of over qualified staff within the financial sector fighting over the jobs that are left. In Russia the exchange has been closed for 3 days....., Commodities are still playing out of sync....I belive we are only seeing the first small effects of what is about to come....However it scares me to see the Norwegian Petrolium Fond talk about buying several bankrupcy US financials...do not gamble with the tax payers money! We can get through this by keeping steady employment figurs and steady interest rates. CFD s are the only thing I am trading at the moment with the way the markets are, and sad to say but sometimes one companys breakdown makes another man rich......there are still many oppertunities to trade the markets, but you need ice in your stomache and keep a close eye on the screen.
